How it Works

This project begins with a proposal and presentation to the Park City Leadership class, outlining a collaborative, community-driven mural initiative focused on Summit County nonprofits, community causes, and the issues and values that shape life in the county.

Following a class vote, the project will move into active planning and implementation.

If selected, work will begin immediately to:

• Identify nonprofit partners and relevant causes

• Secure appropriate mural sites

• Confirm sponsors and in-kind support

• Acquire materials

• Schedule design sessions and community paint days

While some nonprofit partners and wall locations may be identified early, the project is intentionally designed with a flexible scope to allow additional community partners and sites to emerge through class collaboration.

This approach helps ensure broad representation, feasible locations, and murals that reflect shared community values such as care, stewardship, inclusion, and connection.
