Each mural will be painted using a structured, accessible process designed to allow many participants to contribute while maintaining quality, safety, and a positive experience.
Designs will be prepared in advance and projected onto the wall during early morning hours, when lighting conditions allow for accurate projection.
Participants will work together to trace the projected line art using chalk, enabling multiple people to assist with layout at the same time. This collaborative transfer process allows for shared participation from the very beginning of the mural.
Once the design is transferred, the mural will be completed using a paint-by-number approach. Printed design guides will be available on site, including a color legend that corresponds to numbered paint containers.
This system allows participants of varying experience levels to confidently contribute while ensuring visual consistency across the mural.
Depending on the size of the wall and the number of participants, designated painting shifts may be scheduled to ensure that everyone who wishes to take part can do so without overcrowding the site.
All participants will be required to sign a waiver prior to painting, and safety guidelines will be reviewed at the start of each paint day. Any ladder use will be limited to experienced individuals in accordance with project safety protocols.
