To support accessibility, safety, and broad community participation, this project prioritizes mural sites that can be completed without the use of a scissor lift. Ideal walls are reachable from the ground or a standard ladder, allowing more people to participate comfortably and reducing logistical and safety barriers.
Any work requiring ladder access will be limited to experienced individuals who have signed the appropriate safety waivers.
Murals are designed to be completed within a maximum of two consecutive painting days. However, priority will be given to walls that can be completed in one day. This constraint helps ensure realistic scheduling, manageable volunteer shifts, and successful project delivery within the fixed timeline of the Leadership Park City program.
Wall size, surface condition, and design complexity will be evaluated to ensure feasibility within this timeframe.
Preference is given to walls that are highly visible—such as those along busy roadways or in areas with significant foot traffic—so the murals can be easily seen and enjoyed by the public.
At the same time, the project recognizes the value of placing murals in areas that may benefit from increased visibility, where public art can help activate space, support local businesses, and encourage foot traffic.
